Alma Resort Cam Ranh welcomes Son Hoang Le as Sales Manager

Son Hoang Le, a talented hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience in sales, marketing, events and operations at some of Vietnam’s most reputable hotels, has been appointed Alma’s Sales Manager .

Prior to that, he was Sales and Marketing Manager at Diamond Bay Vung Tau Resort & Spa and Sales Manager at Majestic Saigon Hotel.

CAM RANH, VIETNAM – A talented hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience in sales, marketing, events and operations at some of Vietnam’s most acclaimed hotels has been appointed from Alma sales manager.

Vietnamese national Son Hoang Le’s appointment to the family-friendly 30-hectare resort, with 196 pavilions and 384 suites overlooking Long Beach on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula, comes after working at Caravelle Saigon as room sales manager.

Prior to that, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at Diamond Bay Vung Tau Resort & Spa and the sales manager of Hotel Majestic Saigon.

Son began his hospitality career in early 2005 as a bellboy at the Caravelle Saigon, where he spent the next 10 years also working as a receptionist, night supervisor and banquet sales manager, learning various facets of the hotel industry.

He moved to Hotel Nikko Saigon become a commercial executive in a company, before moving on to Pullman Hanoi where he became Director of Sales and then Acting Senior Director of Sales.

Son holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics and Literature from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and also studied electronics at Cao Thang College. Both institutions are based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Describing it as “an excellent negotiator and strategic thinkerr”, general manager of Alma Herbert-Laubichler Pichler said Son’s experience in operations has enriched his leadership abilities in the hotel management ranks and, coupled with his wealth of experience in sales and marketing, has placed him in an excellent position to lead the complex’s ambitious sales efforts for 2022.
