Saigontourist Travel Service Company is the pioneer of the city’s tourism program, following the success of eight pilot visits to the districts of Can Gio and Cu Chi organized exclusively for medical workers working in the fight against the pandemic.
Doan Thi Thanh Tra, director of marketing and communications at Saigontourist, said his company offered two visits to Can Gio and Cu Chi.
Saigontourist and Bao Viet Insurance in Ho Chi Minh City signed an expanded tourist insurance contract covering tourists infected with the coronavirus during company visits, Tra added.
A representative from Vietravel said the company will develop intra-regional products and provide on-site services.
