Established in 2020, VSSES draws on the expertise of Sembcorp Industries as the leading solar energy supplier in Singapore. VSSES provides renewable energy generated by solar systems on the roofs of factories in integrated townships and industrial parks developed by Becamex IDC Corporation and VSIP. Both developers support more sustainable industrial developments, including lower carbon emissions at the industrial level.
Grid-connected solar power systems are built, owned, operated and maintained by VSSES without any financial investment from customers for their installation or operation. Solar power systems are backed by a high-tech digital platform that uses real-time tracking devices to remotely monitor the output of each rooftop solar system string installed in industrial parks.
The platform provides improved visibility into operations and allows maintenance and troubleshooting teams to be quickly deployed when needed, making solar asset operations more robust and reliable.
As a safety innovator, VSSES adopts a full three-dimensional structural assessment when implementing the pre-project to provide tether fall protection through the controlled access area of ​​the roof. To raise safety standards in the industry, VSSES also rewards contractors who demonstrate safe practices during and after project implementation.
